European steel mills remain bullish on steel market and believe steel price will keep increasing due to a combination of high cost of raw material and strong demand.

As a result, European steel mills plan to raise steel prices for the third quarter. It is said that ThyssenKrupp has rejected orders for hot rolled coils at price of €660/ton for third quarter. The price in the second quarter was at €600/ton, it means the price increase will be over €60/ton.

In Italy, hot rolled coil price for third quarter is traded at €700/ton, increased by €80/ton from the second quarter. Price of cold rolled coil price was at €730/ton, and price of hot galvanized steel was at €750/ton.
